Zvi holds a B.Sc. in Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, M.Sc. in Computer Science and an M.B.A. from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and a PhD from the University of Haifa, focusing on smart grids and the utilization of renewable energy in electricity generation. Zvi participated in research on topics related to the Israeli energy market and the impact of climate change on the Israeli water economy and agricultural sector and has been teaching courses in Natural Resources and Environmental Economics and Energy Economics in several academic institutions. In his previous career, Zvi served in various senior management positions in the high-tech industry, which included, among others, VP and President of the Enterprise Product Division at NICE Systems and co-founder and Managing Director of a startup company.
