תחומי מחקר

Research areas

Most of our research focuses on clinical studies in the elderly.

Major fields of interest are:

  • Hip fractures in the elderly; clinical outcome, rehabilitation, nutrition, pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines.
  • Medications in the elderly; polypharmacy, continuity and adherence, inappropriate prescription, medication complexity.
  • Metabolic and cardiovascular diseases; orthostatic hypotension, pulse pressure, CVAs, different aspects of BMI, cholesterol levels.
  • Other clinical issues; elderly abuse, comorbidities.
