נושא המחקר העיקרי שלי הוא אספקטים אנדוקריניים של מחלות אקוטיות וכרוניות.
1. תפקיד הלפטין ואדיפוקינים אחרים לאחר ניתוחי לב בילדים.
2. גדילה ופרופיל מטבולי במחלות כרוניות: אנורקסיה נרבוזה, CF, PKU, צליאק.
3. תופעות לוואי מאוחרות של מחלות ממאירות: חסרים הורמונליים (בלוטת התריס, היפוגונדיזם, חסר הורמון גדילה, היפוקורטיזולמיה, diabetes insipidus), השמנת יתר, גורמי סיכון לתחלואה קרדיוווסקולריות, שכיחות ומשמעות של חסר בויטמין D.
4. טיפול ב- Long-acting somatostatin analogs בילדים עם היפראינסולינמיה מלידה.
