• Heartburn and Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)
• Dyspepsia and Delayed gastric emptying (Gastroparesis)
• Dysphagia (difficulty in swallowing)
• Constipation and Fecal incontinence
• Bloating
• Pelvic floor pain
• Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)

• Diagnosing factors causing heartburn that does not react to conventional

           medical treatment

• Diagnosing and treating of Gastroparesis (ex: diabetics with delayed gastric emptying)
• Effect of sleep on gastric and esophageal function
• Conventional and novel treatments of IBS including behavioral treatments
• Diagnosing causes and treating constipation and uncontrollable sphincter dysfunction
• Diagnosing and treatment of functional dyspepsia
• Diagnosing swallowing malfunction
• Psychological and psychiatric aspects involved in Gastroenterology
• Alternative medicine as a treatment in malfunctions of the GI tract
