בוגר בית הספר לרפואה ע"ש סאקלר באוניברסיטת תל אביב. התמחות ברפואת ילדים בבית החולים אסף הרופא. התמחות על  ברפואת ילדים דחופה ב HOSPITAL FOR SICK CHILDREN  בטורונטו קנדה. מנהל היחידה לרפואה דחופה לילדים בבית החולים אסף הרופא. פרופסור חבר קליני בחוג לרפואת ילדים. 

תחומי מחקר

 

עבודתי המחקרית מתמקדת בשני נושאים עיקרים: טוקסיקולוגיה ורפואה דחופה בילדים.

המחקר הוא בעיקרו מחקר קליני ובחלקו הקטן יותר מחקרים במודלים של בעלי חיים. נושאים שעמדו במרכז מחקרי בשנים האחרונות:

·         איתור וזיהוי ילדים המתקבלים למחלקות לרפואה דחופה עקב שימוש בסמים ובאלכוהול

·         הרעלת דיפירון, הרעלת ברזל, הרעלת אצטמינופן.

·         הטיפול בכאב וטכניקות לסדציה במחלקות לרפואה דחופה

·         זיהוי סמנים קלינים ומעבדתיים של מצבים שכיחים ברפואה דחופה ילדים.

·         טיפול בחום ובמחלות דרכי נשימה עליונות
