תחומי המחקר שלי מגוונים.

אני עוסקת בתחום שונות בבריאות (health disparities), בריאות הציבור וקידום בריאות ובפרט כיצד ניתן להשפיע על בריאות הפרט והקהילה באמצעות חינוך וקידום בריאות. בשנים האחרונות, הקמתי עם חוקרות נוספות מהחוג לסיעוד מעבדת מחקר אנושית לחקר תופעת האלימות נגד עובדי הבריאות. המעבדה חוקרת תופעה שלילית זו מנקודת המבט של הציבור הרחב ובהיבטים שונים. תיאוריית הסינדמיקס (Syndemics Theory) ככלי להבנת פערים בבריאות התלויים בהיבטים חברתיים-כלכליים-פוליטיים מורכבים, מרתקת אותי במיוחד. לאחרונה, מערכי המחקר שלי מבוססי התיאוריה ועוסקים המגוון היבטים הנמשלבים היבטים בריאותיים - פיזיולוגיים והיבטים חברתיים.

בתחום הקליני אני משתפת פעולה עם מספר בתי חולים בהם אנו חוקירם היבטים שונים מעבודת האחות  לדוגמא: התמודדות אחיות עם התאבדות מטופלים, עמדות אחיות לגבי שיתוף משפחות בטיפול בחולים המאושפזים, השפעת מדדי איכות ברפואה על עבודת הצוות ועוד..

כמו כן, אני חברה בפרויקט בין לאומי של ספריית Cochran לתרגום מאמרים שהם סקירת ספרות שיטתית ומטה-אנליזה לעברית. מטרת הפרויקט הינה הנגשת מאמרים איכותיים לציבור האחיות בארץ. התרגומים מתפרסמים בגליונות "האחות בישראל".
