תיאור התפקיד: 

בית הספר לבריאות הציבור, הפועל במסגרת הפקולטה לרפואה ע"ש סאקלר באוניברסיטת תל אביב, מחפש מועמדות ומועמדים מצוינים לקליטה כסגל אקדמי בכיר בדרגת מרצה, מרצה בכיר או פרופסור חבר. המשרה היא תקנית ועשויה להוביל למעמד של קביעות בתום תקופת ניסיון. ההתמחות הנדרשת היא בניהול מצבי חירום ואסון. בפרט, תישקלנה מועמדויות בתחומים הבאים: ניהול מצבי משבר, חוסן, התמודדות אוכלוסייה ומערכות שליטה עם מצבי חירום וקבלת החלטות בתנאי אי-ודאות.

מקבלי המשרה יידרשו ליזום ולהוביל תכניות מחקר חדשניות, לשתף פעולה עם עמיתים, להנחות תלמידי תואר שני ושלישי ולקחת חלק בהוראה בבית הספר לבריאות הציבור ובפקולטה לרפואה.

הליכי המינוי של המועמדים ייעשו בהתאם לנוהלי המינויים הנהוגים באוניברסיטה, בכפוף לאישור המוסדות האקדמיים המוסמכים ולפי שיקול דעתם. הדרגה האקדמית בעת הקליטה תקבע על פי הישגיהם של המועמדים.

דרישות התפקיד: 

תואר Ph.D בבריאות הציבור, אפידמיולוגיה ורפואה מונעת ו/או ניהול או מינהל עסקים (או תחומי דעת נלווים) עם הכשרה בתר-דוקטורית בתחום המועמדות, יכולת מוכחת בביצוע מחקר עצמאי באמצעות פרסומים בכתבי עת אקדמיים שפיטים מובילים, מצוינות במחקר, ניסיון מעשי בגיבוש מדיניות ציבורית בתחום החירום ויכולת הוראה טובה באנגלית ובעברית. 

על המועמד/ת  להמציא:

• קורות חיים בהתאם להנחיות- לחץ/י כאן
• רשימת פרסומים בהתאם להנחיות- לחץ/י כאן
• מסמך קצר (עד 3 עמודים) המסכם את הפעילות המחקרית עד כה.
• תכניות מחקר עתידיות.
• מסמך קצר המפרט את תחומי ההוראה בהם יוכל המועמד/ת  להשתלב בהתייחס לתחומי ההוראה הנלמדים במסגרת בית הספר לבריאות הציבור והפקולטה לרפואה.
• שלושה מכתבי המלצה אשר יישלחו על פי בקשת המועמד/ת מהמנחה לדוקטורט, המנחה לפוסט דוקטורט וממליץ נוסף, ישירות לפרופ' יריב גרבר, ראש בית הספר לבריאות הציבור.

Senior Faculty Position at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine (For the academic year of 2021-2022)

Position description: 

The School of Public Health seeks outstanding candidates to fill a full time senior tenure-track faculty position. Candidate should possess solid and proven knowledge in emergency and disaster management, specifically in the following areas: crisis management, resilience, population coping and control, and decision making under uncertain circumstances.

The successful candidate will be required to initiate and lead innovative research projects, collaborate with colleagues, supervise graduate students and take part in teaching at the School of Public Health and the Faculty of Medicine, as well as other department activities.

Nominations will be according to Tel Aviv University policy and procedure, pending the discretion and approval by the relevant academic authorities. The academic rank will be determined according to the candidate's qualifications and achievements.

Position requirements:

Candidates must hold a PhD degree in public health, epidemiology and preventive medicine and / or management (or related fields of study) with postdoctoral fellowship in relevant areas of the position.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research through publications in peer-reviewed leading journals.
• Excellence in research.
• Hands-on experience in planning public policies in the field of emergencies.
• Strong teaching skills in both English and Hebrew.

• A brief summary (up to three pages) summarizing the research activity to date.
• Future research initiatives.
